Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board invited applications to the state for the recruitment of qualified candidates to fill the 3552 vacancies for a Fireman, Jail Warden, and Police constable. Many applicants submitted their applications and were selected to appear in the first stage, i.e. written exam.

The merit list is determined by the marks received in the written exam. Candidates who pass the written test will be awarded a rank according to the criteria. A final merit list will then be generated.
