NMMS Result 2024 - State Wise NMMS Scholarship Merit List


NMMS Results from the 2022 State Wise National Means Cum Merit Scholarship test for the 2022 session will be held on different dates as determined by the respective authorities. Once the examination is completed successfully, the state/Utss SCERT will upload the result online. The name of the applicant and their roll number will also be displayed. Candidates can check their results online by following the steps below.

Candidates must open the official website for the relevant department of the NMMS.

They must search the homepage for the appropriate NMMS result link.

Each state or union territory releases the NMMS results separately on its official website. Each state and union territory publishes the result in PDF format. It only contains information about the scholarship exam. On the result sheets, information will include the candidate's name and roll number, category, name of the father of the candidate, date, gender, and Contact No. district code school code category total questions in SAT & MAT Marks achieved in each paper, rank, and any related instructions.

Re-evaluation and Re-checking of the NMMS Result

The NMMS Result will now be available online. The result list will contain the marks earned by each candidate in each paper. The NMMS answer sheets are subject to a strict checking process. Therefore, the organizing authority cannot allow re-evaluation or re-checking of answer sheets at any stage.

Candidates cannot request re-evaluation or revision of answer sheets


Qualifying Marks for NMMS Cut-off

NMMS exam includes two papers i.e. MAT and SAT. To pass the exam, candidates must score passing marks on each paper. The following are the qualifying marks that all categories of candidates must score in each paper:

About NMMS

The National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship is a scheme of national-level scholarships offered by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development of India. This scholarship was established in 2008 to provide a scholarship for the most meritorious students from the lower classes of society who have dropped their studies at class VII.

This scheme is designed to encourage students of these schools to continue their education. This scheme does not apply to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas or Kendriya Vidyalayas students.


The examination at the state level is administered by the relevant state authority. Students are then selected. Two papers are required for the exam. SAT (Scholastic Ability Test) and MAT(Mental Ability Test). Each paper has 90 questions. The paper takes 90 minutes to complete.
