1. Shri Ganesh Mandir, Techd

One of the oldest temples in Nagpur, Shree Ganesh Mandir Tekdi is also its most famous. It is dedicated to Ganesha. 2. Sai Baba Temple

    Shirdi Saibaba needs no introduction. This saint and his powers are revered not only in India but all over the world. He is believed to have originated from Shirdi (250 km east of India), but temples dedicated to him and his devotion are located all over the country. The Sai Baba Temple in Nagpur is a replica of the original Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi. The construction of the temple was completed in 1979. Around 2000 people visit this temple every day. On Thursdays, it receives around 2500. Shri Babulaji brought the idol of Sai Baba to the temple. It was carved by Mr. Talim in Mumbai. 3. Telankhedi Hanuman Temple :

   Telankhedi Hanuman Temple is located in the western part of Nagpur. It is situated on the southern slope or seminary hills. It shares Telankadi Lake. This temple is also very peaceful and pleasing to the soul and mind. You will also find life-size marble statues of Lord Shiva, Radhakrishna and Rama, Santoshi Mata Devi Gayatri, Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Radhakrishna and Lord Radhakrishna. The temple is crowded with devotees on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The temple was created by Lord Rama, who is believed to be resting on a hill in Nagpur.

4. Swaminarayan Temple :

 The largest Swaminarayan temple is located near the Middle Ring Road. It is one of the 1000 temples set up by the Swaminarayan organization worldwide. Its magnificent architecture and luminous colors at night are the main attractions. Regular satsang programs are held in the temple and there are idols of many deities including Sri Shukshaiah and Sri Ghanshyam Maharaj. Sri Akshar Purushottam and Sri Yogiji Maharaj are also available. It is worth taking some time to admire the architecture. There are beautiful sculptures on the roof of the temple. If one visits it before sunset, the temple will be more magnificent with the sun shining directly on it.

5. Hazrat Tajjuddin Dargah :

Hazrat Tajjuddin Dargah is located in the heart of Nagpur and is dedicated to Hazrat Tajjuddin Baba, one of the five Sadguru or Gurus of his time. He was a Sufi master, born in Madras in 1268 A.H. After being declared insane, he spent sixteen years in a mental hospital, converting the same place into a place of worship. Sacred and spiritual to the Islamic people, the Dargah is open to all religions and communities. You will feel inspired and calm when you visit a Dargah with a large shrine and a mosque. 6. Ramtek Temple: 

Ramtek Temple, or Ram Temple, is located in the Ramtek area of Nagpur. It is dedicated to Lord Rama. It is a popular belief that Lord Rama rested here during his exile before conquering Lanka. Take means pledge in Marathi. Ramtek means 'pledge to Ram'. The present temple is believed to be 400 years old. It is located in a fort built on a hill away from the city life. You will find a peaceful atmosphere, a fort-like setting and a place of worship with mythological significance. It is famous for its OM structure which is 350 feet long. It is also known for the ferocious yet intelligent monkeys that roam the temple premises. You can drive up to the last support which is about 60 steps from the temple.

7. Adasa Ganesha Temple :

Adasa Ganesha Temple is located on a hill 45 km from Nagpur. It is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is believed to be over 4,000 years old. It is one of the eight Ashta Ganeshas found in Vidarbha. It is a Ganesha idol measuring 12 feet in height and 7 feet in width. It is made from monolithic rock. Some believe that this statue evolved itself. Pausha is a village festival which attracts many pilgrims in winter.

8. Dragon Palace Temple


   Owing to its magnificent architecture and scenic beauty, the Dragon Palace Temple is located in the Kampti district of Nagpur. It is a Buddhist temple in the heart of the city. It was built in 1999. This temple is a great place to find peace and tranquility. The temple has a large prayer hall and a sandalwood statue representing Buddha. The temple is also politically important as it commemorates the Indo-Japanese friendship of the time. It was started by Nishiki Kato, an artist from Tokyo. It was built in 1923 by late Mr. Jamnadhar Poddar (an eminent businessman from Rajasthan). It is also known as the proud citizen of Nagpur. This place is believed to bring peace of mind to pilgrims.
