Qualification Standards:

Please make sure you meet the qualifying requirements listed below before submitting your GATE 2023 form.

GATE is open to applicants who are Indian nationals as well as those from Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.

Int ME/MTech and Dual Degree (after 10+2 or Diploma), at least the fifth or fourth year, or until satisfactorily finished

Int B-MS / Int MSc Final or finished

Exam Structure:


There will be 29 papers in all.

The test will be administered online.

Numerical and multiple-choice questions will be included in the questions.

There will be sixty-five questions in all.

There is a 100 maximum mark.

Each query carries one mark. There are several questions with two marks.

There Will be Two Types of Questions:
