Rustomji Homusji Modi, popularly known as Russi Modi, laid the foundation for India's most significant private sector business growth. He graduated from Harrow and Christ Church College, Oxford. After completing his education he joined TISCO office as secretary.

Also known as India's Iron Man, he was a powerful leader, motivator and best known for his business acumen by placing his faith in society and people. He was the best source of resources for Indians to join the world of steel. He has assisted leading manufacturing companies in introducing TISCO in various capacities. He topped the list as a company director.

He was appointed Director of Operations and later promoted to Managing Director. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan for his contribution to Indian industry. It introduced institutions like Tata Steel Rural Development Society as well as Tata Football Academy for the first time. He was a major player in completing a major modernization plan.

Some obstacle in his way

In terms of business, there is no need for man to take any action such as making the most effective plan for the path that economic activity has introduced up to that point. He believes in the development of programs that target local communities because they are beneficial to local consumers. He opposed his chairman, Ratan Tata, as he was forced to leave the company.

He joined a political party and tried to bring about change in the industry but it did not work. He won the Lok Sabha elections in Jamshedpur but lost to a BJP contender. As he grew older, he began to slow down and admitted that he had lost his memory and ability to speak.

While Russi Modi is the best innovator in India, Russi Modi is the most influential pioneer of Indian industry, his problems with Rattan Tata affected his entire work and for that he had to leave the company. While his old-fashioned approach has turned out to be somewhat beneficial for business and the country, Rossi expects Modi to be upgraded to modern technology as well. This harmed his status and his image of the company due to which the difference between Rattan Tata and Russi Modi became more than before.

Russi Modi changed the meaning of Indian industry and steel. He has done his best to bring India to the top and has made sure that he is represented positively. Apart from enjoying an extravagant lifestyle, he also tried his best to make a difference in the lives of all the people of India by making a difference in business.

Russi Modi was born on January 17, 1918 in Mumbai to an Indian Parsi family. He remained in Kolkata till his death on 16th, 2014. We pray to that Lord that his soul rest in peace!!
